Event Details

Are you strong like Herakles? Fast like Atalanta? Clever like Odysseus? Join the Hellenic Museum this winter as we meet the ancient Greek heroes whose stories have sparked imaginations for thousands of years!

Through interactive storytelling and ancient artefact handling, young Argonauts will learn all about these heroes and their epic adventures. Together we'll sneak past Medusa's fearful gaze with Perseus, join Theseus as he ventures into the Labyrinth to face the Minotaur, and ride Pegasus to the skies with Bellerophon.

Then, once we've returned to the ground, it's time to become a hero yourself! Craft your very own himation (ancient Greek cloak) and decorate it with symbols, images and words inspired by your favourite Hellenic hero.

Details & Inclusions

  • 60-minute session with storytelling, artefact handling and hands-on crafts
