Argonauts Day: Mini Monsters!

Ahoy, Argonauts! Are you ready to embark on an epic school holiday adventure with the Hellenic Museum Argonauts Club? Join us at our first ever Argonauts Day: an action-packed family festival that will transform the Museum into an ancient playground full of hands-on activities, entertainment and tours!​​​

Ideal for young explorers aged 5–13 yrs

$30 per child, including four hours of unlimited activities and gallery access.

Parents accompany free!

Lots to see, do and discover!

Plus a special new experience:
the Gods and Monsters tour

Join museum staff on a hunt through the collections, finding its many gods and monsters! Then experience an interactive new children's exhibition, Michael Zavros: Gods and Monsters.

Tours run for 45 minutes, and will depart from a meeting point in the pavilion at 11AM, 12PM & 1PM on the day.

Hungry after all your adventures?

Visit the concession stand to purchase choc tops, popcorn and bottled water, or bring your own packed lunch to enjoy in the picnic area.

How much are tickets, and what do they include?

Tickets are $30 per child, and include full access to activities and galleries. The only exclusions are food and drinks at the concession stand, and the museum gift shop.

Child supervision & adult tickets

Children must be accompanied and supervised by their parent or guardian at all times. However, adults do not need to pay — simply book a complimentary companion ticket.

 

What ages are the activities recommended for?

This event has been designed for young explorers between the ages of (roughly) 5–13.

Is there food available? Can we bring a packed lunch?

Light refreshments (choc tops, popcorn and bottled water) will be available to purchase at the concession stand. For something more substantial, families are encouraged to bring their own lunches. A picnic area with tables and chairs will be available.
