DIGITAL COLLECTION

Explore Hellenic history online with a collection of Hellenic Museum artefacts, reconstructed as 3D models using photogrammetry.

As technology continues to advance, we are able to utilise it as a means of analysing, preserving and conveying archaeological heritage. Our digital collection is always growing due to the tireless work of museum staff and research assistants – and you can read this in-depth interview with archaeological PhD student Thomas Keep which dives into the photogrammetry process.

The items that have undergone photogrammetry are from two collections, generously on loan from Peter and Mary Mitrakas, and the Koumantatakis Family.

In addition to the models below, visitors can explore the Hellenic Museum's entire digital collection
on Sketchfab.
