Enjoy an afternoon at the Hellenic Museum creating cocktails with the mixologists from Fable Melbourne. Over the course of two hours, you’ll learn how to mix, shake and stir three different drinks and explore the history and techniques of cocktail making. You’ll also hear tantalising tales from the Mediterranean while enjoying thoughtful Greek shareplates.
No prior mixology experience is needed!

From prolific Melbourne hospitality personality Gehan Rajapakse (Sofitel, Hyde Bar, Rah Bar, Club 23, Crown Casino) comes a new Mediterranean rooftop bar atop the Greek Community Building. Owned and designed by Gehan, Fable Melbourne boasts exceptional views from the East End of the city all the way to the Arts Centre, Marvel Stadium and the Bolte Bridge.
Head mixologist Alessandro Nardini has created a cocktail menu that is “light and full of flavour” and tells a story with every drink.
Executive Chef Alex Xinis has curated a menu inspired by the Mediterranean to complement the beverages. After being at the helm of two Michelin-starred kitchen in Greece, Alex became the head chef at Melbourne Press Club before the venue achieved its second Good Food Guide hat.
