HELLENIC MUSEUM TOURS

Tours are one of the best ways to experience the Hellenic Museum. Discover tour options for general visitors and education groups.

The Spirit of Byron Tours

Explore a new range of tours for adults and secondary students in line with The Spirit of Byron exhibition, now showing until January 2025. Explore the formation of modern Greece through the War of Independence (1821–32); be introduced to the poetry of Lord Byron, whose works became an international voice representing the Greek plight for freedom; and walk in the footsteps of revolutionary thinkers, soldiers and poets across the landscapes and seascapes where action took place.

Education Tours

The Hellenic Museum welcomes education groups of all levels for guided or self-guided tours, and can tailor to areas of interest. All education groups must enquire before visiting.

For guided education tours the cost is $17 general or $12 concession; teachers accompany free. For self-guided the cost is Museum entry: $12 general or $7 concession.

Private Guided Tours

General visitors in groups of 8–20 can enquire about booking their own guided tour. These can be booked between 10am–3pm weekdays, subject to availability.

The cost for group tours is $17 general or $12 concession per person, with general admission included. Delivery in AUSLAN can be arranged by enquiry.
